Industrial videoendoscope Piton with flexible insertion tube
Videoendoscope Piton is a multipurpose system for efficient inspection in all industrial applications, including power-generating plants, chemical, oil and gas plants, piping systems, locomotive and aircraft maintenance. The model range of endoscope Piton includes following models: – SMT-10-P13-TV15 (Insertion tube length – 10 m, Camera unit diameter – 15 mm, P – Piton, TV – videoscope); – SMT-15-P13-TV15 (Insertion tube length – 15 m, Camera unit diameter – 15 mm, P – Piton, TV – videoscope); – SMT-20-P13-TV15 (Insertion tube length – 20 m, Camera unit diameter – 15 mm, P – Piton, TV – videoscope); – SMT-25-P13-TV15 (Insertion tube length – 25 m, Camera unit diameter – 15 mm, P – Piton, TV – videoscope).
Technical specifications
The following actions could be performed using endoscope Piton: – visual inspection with – video recording and further viewing and examination of possible defects; – playing recorded video files; – uploading recorded video files to computer for further processing and archiving; – external – external Transmitting unit consists of a barrel mounted on firm steel frame. Flexible insertion tube can be easily wound off through guide arm. In the center of the barrel battery module is situated. On the control panel the following elements are placed: power indicator, lighter regulator, battery discharge indicator, charger XLR socket, power switch and six studs to prevent insertion tube from deformation. Insertion tube is flexible and ends with distal end and camera unit connector. Distal end articulation is manually adjustable. In case of radial inspection one should bend distal end before work and rotate insertion tube during inspection. Resolution of video endoscope is higher than resolution of Power lighter scheme is based on LED driver to provide constant lighter voltage and constant brightness even when the battery is partially discharged. Receiving unit is mounted in the handy aluminium safe case. On the control panel of receiving unit the following elements are placed: battery module, video player, video player case, video player charger, composite video out connector, charger XLR socket, power button, power indicator and battery discharge indicator. Transmitting and receiving units are not connected with wires. To transmit video signal wireless technology is used. Thus transmitting and receiver units can be placed separately during inspection at the distance between each other up to 7 m. This provides additional mobility to the endoscope Piton. Portable video capture device with embedded HDD is used to recorder inspection results and to upload video files to computer or laptop for further processing and archiving. For power supply For charging these batteries ANSMANN ALCS 2-24A charger is used. Factory crocodile clips are replaced with For internal inspection of cylindrical objects like pipes special mechanical equipment is used. It consists of centrator, spacers and extender sections. Centrator is used for axial positioning of the insertion tube inside the cylindrical object. Three bundles of spacers have different length and make it possible to centralize the insertion tube inside pipes with diameter from 100 to 300 mm and more. With the help of extender one could push the centrator and manipulate insertion tube inside pipes. Attention! Endoscope Piton is designed only for industrial purposes. It is prohibited to use the endoscope for medical purposes. Endoscope Piton is not designed for inspection of corrosive environment, highly inflammable liquids (petrol, kerosene, oils etc.), acids, alkalies, dissolvents, highly explosives and radioactive materials. It is strongly prohibited to immerse insertion tube in any liquids (including water). It is also prohibited to inspect petrol level in petrol tanks.
